what are the possibilities of bachmann making hudsons and possibly streamlined hudsons
and if not who manufactuers these in ho scale

Guilford Guy

BLI made the Hudsons in HO. They are out of Production but can be found on ebay. Same with their S1b Niagara's. Rivarossi made a Streamlined Hudson Eons ago, but it isn't as accurate as some of today's products.

Riverossi also made a standard Hudson in addition to the streamlined one.  They occasionally show up on auction sites & at swap meets.

price ranges.....
Retail prices on the BLI Hudson were - sound unit -$330, silent unit - $230.  Street prices were less - some shops may have a left-over one in stock at a discount.

NYCentralgirl,
Might you be interested in the famed NYC 20th Century Limited, which Walthers is about to produce, circa 1949?

IHC also makes a Hudson which looks vaguely like the NYC J-5.  I think it comes in standard and semi-streamlined.  I have two of them and they are nice locos - in line with the new IHC products.   Much less expensive than the Broadway Limited and much better than the old Rivarossi.
Get a copy of Model Railroader and look at the selection and prices in the Standard Hoppy Supply and Trainworld ads.  Or look for either's website.
