Value of older train

 How do I find out the value if any of an older small power house train set.

one very simple solution os to check competed auctions on Ebay and see if one or a similar one has sold recently.  You need to be an Ebay member to do this but it's a good start.  There are also a couple of online markets places that specialize in model trains.  I don't have them handy, but someone else here may.
