Will N scale Bachmann remote turnouts (ie 44862) accept a stationary decoder like Digitrax DS51K1 to actuate the motor?

The Digitrax DS51K1 is designed specifically for the DC operated Kato turnouts. For turnouts with dual solenoid control motors, like the Bachmann turnouts, you should use either the Digitrax DS52 Stationary Decorder (can control 2 turnouts) or the DS64 Stationary Decoder (can control up to 4 turnouts).

Some cutting and splicing of the green turnout control cable will be required if you want to also still be able to use the control button that comes with the turnout.
