Hello everyone! New comer here and Ive got a little problem, I bought a damaged NYC niagra loco at a train show last month that apparently looks it took a nosedive and the whole front end was really damaged. So i bought a new bodyshell from Bachmann and it appears that the screw mounts are very different (old one has one mount on the back below the cab,new one has 3 one in front 2 in back) So now i have to return this. Would bachmann still have the older body shells? The locos number is 5016. Any help will be appreciated :)
Hi. Sounds like yours was made before the design change to the newer running gear. I called Bachmann today trying to find a motor for my old N&W J Class. I was told they no longer carry parts for stuff that old. You might want to look at Ebay. While searching (bachmann parts) I found a couple older Niagaras being sold as parts. Most sellers will answer questions send addition pics on request. Hope that helps, good luck. Jim
