Any suggestions on a decoder w sound for this. I love the look of these and have just switched to DigTrax DCC

Contact Bruce at Litchfield  Station. They answer email.

He does a lot of DCC installations and might have other suggestions. He helps me a lot.
Others here might have suggestions.

At Lin's Junction in Lansdale, Pa,  Karl,  the one who does such installations uses something from Lok Sound.  Not sure which one.

According to the Litchfield site, the Doodlebug would use the Tsunami Galloping Goose or Rail Truck 678-827110 decoder or,
LokSound Standard v3.5, M10000-Winton Distillate 201A with Wabco single chime.

The You Tube link I indicated before uses the Tsunami decoder.

The Doodlebug had a distillate engine. If you do not know what a Winton Distillate engine is. Look at the below link.
