That has to be the nicest WBB ad I've ever seen. The Monon BL-2 looks real!
Way to go guys!
Yes, but it not include those same red CGW, MKT and KCS F units!
You're not kidding! A "Deramus Red" F-3 would've looked mighty pretty!
I could go woth GP-7's. And the livery is not THAT hard to do. Kind of like doing SSW units along with SP units.
True. And a decent caboose without port holes!
Yes: a good bay, extended, NE....would be nice. Add one type a year. I would have done that before the steamers. Cabin Cars from the other folks is getting to be too exspensive!
Yes it was a very nice ad thanks for noticing. Hats off to Ken Patterson, the photographer, for the wonderful looking shot!

The first Williams locomotive I purchased was the C&O BL2. It runs like a champ, looks excellent and was a great deal for the money invested. The Monon BL2 has been on my wish list for a while. WbB, thanks for the tantalizing photo on the rear cover of CTT. ;) It may show up at my house within the next year now.

:o I really liked it too! too bad I don't model the Monon.
I have the Rock Island one with the red, black, and silver paint scheme. Too bad WBB doesn't also offer the red and silver version anymore.
The photograph was stunning and I don't model the Monon either!
Mike,
Check your favorite dealers for that older Rock Island version. They are still out there.
I found them at Western Depot with a quick google search.
