I came in the hospital Friday with COVID. This is one of the sites I visit everyday and I have enjoyed being here. With me on oxygen already, it doesn't look so good.
Praying for you. Hang in there.
Hang in there Man.
I was in a VA hospital October 2018. Heart stopped for sixteen seconds. Doctor brought me back.
I will be watching.
Rich

Dear Terry,
You can count on my prayers as well.
You are one of the original posters here; I remember meeting you at a WGH many years ago.
Be strong!

Terry:
I normally do not post here but I enjoy following your posts. You have helped me a lot in my construction and I thank you for that. I wish the best for you and I feel that I will soon be seeing you posting again. Do not give up so all of us are waiting for your recovery. Hope your family is strong to assist you.
I sure do remember meeting you Bach-Man. I felt like a Mouseketeer meeting Mickey. :)
Only time will tell here. I'm doing ok so far. It's a kind of wait and see what it will lead to. I don't feel bad. Since it's early stages. the docs don't even know how it will affect me yet. They gave me a plasma transfusion last night and are hoping that can help fight it off. They take donated plasma from people who have beaten it because their plasma should have the antibodies. I wore the mask when I went to stores. I tried to keep my distance when possible. I didn't sanitize carts or wear gloves and I guess that was my downfall.
I've learned a lot on here from so many knowledgeable people on here and I hope I've been to help some others with things I've learned. I like that so many are always willing to lend a hand to those that need it.
Hi Terry. Great to hear from you. Hang in there. Praying for you bud.
Our local grocery store sanitizes all the basket handles and I wear thin silk gloves from Amazon and wash them in hot water when I get home plus I always wear a mask,
I am over 79 and have to be careful.
Wash hands a lot with antibacterial soap. Live with stepson and we watch out for each other. He is 60 with congestive heart failure.
Western Mass is not too bad right now.
Stay strong.
I watch the forum all day.
Rich
You've got this Terry!!!! Still sending my prayers for a quick recovery.
Hi Terry, may the Good Lord bless and keep you and restore you to health,Paul
Hey Terry. I'm not much of a thoughts and prayers kinda guy, but hang in there and fight man.
This damn Chinese flu is nothing to be taken lightly. You're not the only American I know that is in your situation.
I'm worried myself after starting chemo earlier this year. My immune system isn't what it should be anymore. I haven't even been out to our race track this year.....that should tell you how worried I am lol.
You'll be fine man.....You're too tough to kill.
Sid
Hang tough Terry! I'm pulling for ya.
You got the plasma and with all the people prating. I know you will make it. at 88 I stay away form others.
They let me come home today. Six days I was in there. The doc says he thinks I'm going to make it ok. Time will tell. Between the plasma transfusion and the Remdesvir drug they gave me, it helped. I still have to quarantine for another 4 or 5 days. If I make it through that with no issues, I should be good. I'm still pretty weak but I don't feel too bad.
Hi Terry.
Great news. I check here every day, quite often. Stay safe. I am 79 and doing my best. KN95 Mask and thin silk gloves when out. I wash the gloves in hot water when I get home. Still praying for you.
Rich
Good news, man!
Sid
I've checked this chain 3 times a day since it was created, waiting to make sure that you were ok. I am so glad to hear this!!!! Prayers for a speedy back to normal for you!
Great news!
Outstanding!
Who says prayer doesn't work?!!!
Be strong!

quarantine for 4 or 5 days, that will give you more time to run your layout.
I'm glad you're on the home-stretch of beating the virus!
I'm glad to be home. I just hope I stay ok for another week and I will be relieved. I still feel really weak. My wife got her results today and she is negative. Another big relief for me. Thanks so much to all of you for your prayers and concern.
This is what my layout looks like now. We have been having our kitchen redone and this was the only place to put everything. The guy across the street is giving us a real good deal but just doing it in his spare time so it is taking quite a while. We are living out of boxes for food and dishes and silverware. I have Dinosaurland sitting up there too because my Great Granddaughter Dori and I were playing with it a couple of weeks ago before I got sick. She just had to play with it while we have everything else piled up in there. I had it down on the floor while we played with it and just stuck it up there because I was going to take it outside and take pics of it, but it got rainy for the next few days and then I got sick.

Great Terry. Anyone else have to get tested?
Rich
My wife got tested and was negative. My older daughter stays with us but she stays away from the house a lot and is rarely around me. I don't think we've been within 6 feet in months. She hasn't been tested but she hasn't shown any signs or symptoms.
Good to hear!
More good news Terry. Thank you.
VA doctors says I feel fine so I should not need testing.
Rich
Getting down on the floor to play with grandchildren or great grandchildren is a major, major life experience.
Your great granddaughter will always remember that.
Good to hear your progress Terry.
That's good news about you Rich.
I've always gotten down on the floor and played with the grandkids and great grandkids. When these little people look up at me, all they see is a 6' 4" giant looming over them. I figure that must be pretty intimidating so I get down to their level. Even when they leave, I'll get down on a knee to hug them.
When they were little, I'd get down there and put the dinosaurs on the "track" so the could run Thomas over them. Another thing they loved was when I'd put them in a big cardboard box to "ship them off."😂
;D
Great to see the smile Terry.
