Title: 2-10-4 works in progress link
Post by: VTBob on December 30, 2007, 05:53:40 PM
Still working on the model. Small video of it on my test track. The model was the 2-10-2 DCC bachmann model. I wanted to have used a Hicken tender, but I am between jobs & just don't have the income. I'll post a works-in-progress photo page later on this week if I get time.

Looks great, had a look at some of your other videos especially liked the 2-6-6-2 and the climax videos. Would you still recommend the MRC for the 2-6-6-2?

well.........that's hard to say. At the moment, I'm hoping someone out there can help me fix the CV settings on the MRC decoder so that the models will actually pull a train, not to mention themselves.

They sound great for the locomotives, but so far the pulling is far from impressive.

50% yay / 50% nay so far.

Hopefully this is the decoder. There is a fair amount of documentation on the MRC site regarding their decoders.
