Title: B&M Caboose
Post by: Paul C. on February 25, 2013, 04:14:49 PM
The other day I saw a Bachman B&M Caboose which I believe is an NE-5 and it looked correct for a B&M NE-5 caboose. (No Crash Bars and square ends) However I haven't been able to find it in the online catalogue. I'm hoping it is available in the Minuteman and/or original McGinnis paint schemes. The one I saw (didn't get the item number) is in Gilford Blue and has a 3 digit number in the 400's which certainly indicates Gilford.
Has anyone else seen this or know if it's available in other painr schemes?

Bachmann's newest caboose is is a Northeast type used by many roads including Reading, Maine Central, WM and others, and Walthers is showing an AR for one in B&M. Bowser make a Pennsy NE5, and does offer it in B&M Minuteman (brown). Intermountain/Centralia lists B&M NE5's in several schemes, and Atlas ran their C&O steel caboose (almost a look alike) in B&M blue & black. None are listed as currently in stock at Walthers, unfortunately.
