Well, I think you may be right about the older generation thing.
Let me ask you some questions:

1) is there a gas tank with one screw holding it on?

2) when looking at the bottom, can you see a gap between the two halves of the chassis?

3) if there are two halves of the chassis, is there a "square notch" missing in the gas tank area?

4) are the pickups rivited to the wheel housing?

5) are the gears black or white?

Can you post a picture of the bottom of the engine?

I may be able to help you out with parts.

I have had to super glue the parts of the tube together and then use the screw to tap the hole, a 1/4 turn at a time.

Other than that, fleaBay, unfortunately.

...and extra body shells, motors, gears, tanks, trucks, wheels...

By far, my favorite engines.  Just love them.
Drives me crazy (n scale 'NUT')  8) that Bachmann doesn't have these on the roster.

Hey BachMann!!  If there are any future plans with an NScale F7, please make sure that the bodies from the Plus and Spectrum lines interchange.

Also, if you're interested, I have an idea about how to make the existing chassis to be 'not truck mounted couplers'.

The solution is very simple and can be yours for a very low price...  Maybe even for a really good trade.

Thanks!!

I suspected that but was unsure.  Heard a rumor that there was a toilet to one side or another and electrical compartment across from that.  Any truth to that?

Try contacting Atlas customer service.  They bought the lifelike stuff in 2018(?)...

They may be able to help you.

https://brooklynlocomotiveworks.com/ll-2882.htm
These guys also have some experience and or knowledge, as I gather from my extensive knowledge of Google-Fu.

Sorry you were dealt with so harshly above.  I have a deep attachment to certain Bachmann N Scale stuff, So I can gather your attachment to your engine...  Albeit from an inferior and unworthy company ;)

Come at me bro...
... I yearn for moderation.

So, my little collection grows, but I have difficulty obtaining some items.

I have some old F9 engines that have body damage, and I am looking to replace them with "as new" replacements, as well as obtain other specimens that I am lacking.

eBay is insane on what they are asking for these things, especially in the condition that they are in, if they have it at all.

Sooooo....

You got any really old F9 bodies laying around?

(Called CS and got some lame answer about 'if it's not on the site, we ain't got it".  I have bought stuff before that wasn't listed, hopefully I can do it again.   For the record, this is for my personal collection, none of which will ever be for sale in my lifetime)

...whatcha got??

Got it, arrived yesterday!

Sold out  >:(

Looking to pay $25 shipped.

((Looking at you, BachMann  ;) ))

Thanks
