From about 1959 on, during the off seasons, the SC and the El Cap were combined into one train.  In the summer, and winter holiday season, the train went to 2 sections.  SC was the first, El Cap the second.

There is a Lionel Whistle control button.  Modern manufacture.  Place between the ZW and the track.  Test it.  If the black and red wires are one way, you get horn, whistle.  Other, bell.

Now, you might want ato get FOUR, 2 for each of the long handles on the ZW.  On older ZW's, it takes a lot of power to get the whistle to blow.  With the new buttons, you should not have that problem

I have seen both the 3's and th 7's.  The 3's do lhave a better looking body.

There were never any F3's in PRR 5 stripe tuscan.  But considering there are no FP7 or 9's out there, the 3 will be as close as you can get within reason.

W/ did make a 5 stripe tuscan PA/PB once, which PRR DID have

Now, MTH PS-3 will "read" DCS, DCC and Conv..  So DCC in 3R O is possible!  Now can DCS run a DCC loco?

You may consider changing the lights in locos and cars to LED to reduce power requirements.  Also, they do run cooler!

The PRR, RF&P, and the ACL ran joint passenger trains to Fllorida.  So it is possible to have ACL cars behind a GG1

Burning a odd snow which shorted out the G's along the NEC, PRR leased RF&P E units to runn passenger trains under the wires!

There was a company which used to make a product which has a coal load glues to a spongy base.  Real light, but good looking.  For small L, L and WBB quad, K-Line, and the various MTH lines.

I run TMCC in conv.  One loop is to a TPC 400, which produces a true sine wave.  Yne PowerHouse does have a square wave.  Will the square affect the sound on those units?

One could say the Triple Crown RoadRailer trains are a "unit train".

Yes, the term "unit train" is usually used with coal or tankers.  Yet in the boxcar era, many railroads ran express box car service from one terminal to another, using one kind of car.  SP's LA-SFO OVERNIGHT is an example.  An LCL train, vs. one load for one customer, say with coal.  But, in many aspects, these were a lind of "unit trains", even though that term was not used at that time.
