Title: Adding PAssengers
Post by: dandkroach on March 10, 2008, 08:43:48 PM
Hi!  I just purchase our first train for my son - He chose the Mckinley Explorer - He is obsessed with putting passengers in the cars - The man at the Train Expo who sold it to us said it " was very easy " and that the tops "popped off" and then you put in the people - Well, I cannot figure it out and I do not want to break it - So any guidance would be appreciated!!!

Dear DandK,
The roof is molded in one piece with the side windows. Clips on the bottom of the car will allow you to release the entire assembly.
Have fun!

Model the Penn Central in 1967 - they had no passengers so your son's empty cars would be prototypical!

Penn Central cars in 1967 would be completely empty- since Penn Central didn't exist then! The merger took place on February 1, 1968.

New Haven wasn't accepted into the merger until 1969...
