Coupler to coupler is approximately 10 3/4" long and wheel to wheel is approximately 9 1/2".

Best regards,

With the loco close coupled to the tender, the wheelbase is about 1/4" too long for the Atlas turntable.  I have tried, more than once, to make the Connie fit.  You can take off the pony truck and it will fit on the table.  HOWEVER, if you motorize the table, the pilot will bump into the motor house as it swings around.  Yes, I feel your pain.  Like you, I really wanted it to fit.

May I suggest the new Bachmann turntable.  It's a bit bigger, will definitely hold a 2-8-0, and looks a bit more realistic.  I know space is a premium.  That's why the atlas table is so popular.  It's the eternal MR problem:  big dreams, small space.  ;D
