Can you or has anybody run 2 power boosters on the same layout?

This is the 5amp power booster sold by Bachmann. Their is only a switch for 12 0r 18 volts.

I am running DCC command with a 5 amp power booster and when I check my track voltage it is only approx 9 volts. Why not 12?

I have a Acela train with dcc on board,no sound, that has been running perfectly  for 2+ years. All of a sudden it stopped working. I have checked the track with other engines and everything is fine.Before I take it apart,any suggestions as to what to look for?

I have discovered that the 12volt output is not working to the track. There is a switch to change this to 14volt.Has anybody done this for ho track ?
Bachmann does not repair this item, so I am forced to purchase a new one.

I have a 70 ton 3 truck climax that I think could run faster than it does. Is there a way to increase factory speed,and how do you do it?

I have a Bachmann diesel fp40 with dcc and would like to add sound. what should I buy to do this and how to install it.

I am using the ez command system at the present time #44902 and would like to upgrade to a larger system like the dynamis system.
Any ideas?

Answer to question #1 is NO it only occurs after running any engine.
#2 is yes  any engine ie rs2 and 3

FYI all of the engines and equipment are Bachmann installed decoders.I don't understand why when you run an engine the turnout switch stops working.

I have a dcc switch running on the ez command system. I have programmed it according to the instructions and it works the first time I turn power on.
That is push #9,then function,then I use #3 to switch it.After I run any other engine on another 3(2or4etc) then come back to switch it,it doesn't work.

I'm using the ez command system. I went in and followed those directions .When I finished programing the switch cycled  4 times telling me it was programed successfully. Now,how is the switch supposed to toggle back and forth.I thought you pushed the forward and reverse arrows to toggle it ---nothing

I purchased a #6 turnout and followed the directions.Everything programmed as it was supposed to but,the switch does not toggle back and forth when I hit either direction button.

Yes,the both are,but are located in different locations on the layout.I have a 5amp power booster that I thought would alleviate the problem.
