Curently there are two G D Line 40' wood boxcar kits for sale on the NMRA site. You do not have to be an NMRA member to purchase them and proceeds benefit a railroad museum. All oxther information you might need is on the site.
It's an Accurail model and makes up nice.
Gene :)
Thanks. I might buy one. How much do they cost?
You could always look on the site. Nobody would think of that. ::)
Who'd a thunk it, Hoople.
Boy, I'm feeling really stupid. :-[
They're $15 + $3 shipping and handling.
Like I said, I'm feeling really stupid :-[
I think I'll buy a couple to match the old Roundhouse ones I have, thanks for the info.

They may look nicer than the Roundhouse. I don't know. OTOH, I picked up a G&D caboose off e-Bay.
I mean, why not? Surely a western mountain railroad caboose could somehow drift east to a sub-division in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Right?
Gene ::)
Right, Gene.
I might get the G&D boxcars.
BTW, NMRA seems very nice with shipping charges. Along with my G&D wood 40' boxcar came a Bent Spaghetti Lines 50' two door box car. They were essentially two different sales, but Igot them in one box for the S&H for the G&D car.

That BSL car should go well with the G&D cars. Jerry ("Chef Gerardo") Drake was a very good friend of John Allen's, and there were BSL cars on the G&D. gj
They are going into my "unreal railroads" train. I think the G&D drover caboose will be in the mddle, deadheading someplace. ;D
