Title: The Good Old Days
Post by: panniertankboy8751 on July 03, 2009, 10:18:56 PM
Well, I think that some of you may Know about British Rail's New Engine 60163 "Tornado" A1 Pacific. It's been about 50-60 years scince the last Mailine Brit engine was built. So do you think more new steamers are on the way. Cause if there is, it had BETTER be an 8F or a 7F

yea, but they already have a 9F, Evening Star. Or maybe they could develop a twelve wheeler. But if I had to go with a 2-10-0, it would be an WD 2-10-0 ;D

Panniertankboy, It isn't that your thread wasn't interesting; it is just that many of us know virtually nothing about European rail. That is one sweet looking engine though. I like the gray livery...very sharp!

Thanks for sharing...all the way from da' Bronx no less,

You have about 1 out of 20 members who know British and 30% are probably American. I like to chat about British for a change and actually study that and other places with rails in my spare time when not working on the layout or walking Daisy(dog, lol Thomas character! :D).

I have felt your pain, take my day out with Thomas chat for example, I thought it would be a hit right on target, It was not and no one seem to notice. Then suddenly it started to grow and seemed that many enjoyed. If you only have a short amount of comments, don't feel down. :) as long as at least one person enjoys, then it is a smash hit! ;)

Maybe America should jump on the Band wagon and make a new steamer of their own.
