Title: Did anything new in On30 show up at Springfield?
Post by: railtwister on February 01, 2010, 08:19:27 AM
A friend just returned from the big E show in Springfield, MA. and said there was a nice group of Bachmann On30 cars on display there. He's an HO scaler, and is not involved in On30 (other than to hear me talk about it), so he wasn't sure if there was anything new at this show, or if the cars on display were simply showing off what's already available in On30. Did anyone from this group happen to see this display, and notice if there were any new items or paint schemes?

Regards,
Bill

I spent some time at the Bachmann booth and didn't see anything new in On30 that we haven't seen here.
I'm in On30 and was looking at those items.
But we can always hope.

As a general rule, Bachmann only announces new products at either the NMRA Train Show, or sometimes at the National Narrow Gauge convention, both of which are held in the summer.

Basically Bachmann had most if not all of their current line on display. All the gauges were represented.

The new large scale articulated engine is something - a great model.
