Title: outdoor train

can I hardwire my track instead of using that stupid clip which breaks, rusts or doesn't hold well...
im new to this game so please be patient with me

Which one? Be specific. I assume this is something in the Large Scale category. This might be moved to that set of forums anyway.

HI,

No matter what scale you are in, if you use track power, you can hardwire.  Use of track clamps with a provision for attaching a wire also works very well too.  if you are using steel track like what comes with the sets it will rust away very quickly since it is made only for indoor use.  You will need brass or stainless steel track for outdoor use.   Track clamps for all  the joints are highly recommended for outdoor use.
