Title: Rail Sources
Post by: HPD on August 01, 2007, 01:07:36 AM
I'm in a bind, my source for Code 250 brass rails has gone out of business, does anyone have or know of a source for Code 250 Brass rails?   Thank You in advance.

Sunset Valley http://www.svrronline.com (http://www.svrronline.com) sells code 250 brass rail. It's the same profile as the rail Accucraft uses for their track, though a different alloy. (It weathers much quicker.) I believe you can buy just the rail from Accucraft, too, but given a choice (for just the rail) I'd go with Sunset Valley. Either one will work very well for complete flex-track sections, though I personally prefer the look of Accucraft's ties. Unfortunately their switches aren't yet available, so go with Sunset Valley for those.

Later,

K

Kevin,

Thank you, for your recommendation.  I hand lay my own track (indoors) and their rails will match up with what I have been using.
