Title: Jim Banner Tutorial of Feb 2007 - Can't Find It!
Post by: mechengr on March 26, 2008, 04:44:50 PM
In a reply to one of my messages, saw a reference to a tutorial by Jim Banner, that was posted in Feb 2007, that would be of interest to me.

Have tried searching for this tutorial, but no success. Anyone know whether this tutorial is still on the board?

Mechengr,

Possibly I gave you this pointer from a previous posting today.  If so the tutorial is to a link that Jim Banner gave to a fellow modeller on Feb 22, 2007 @ 7.47.18 PM.  Title of posting was HO/ Re. "Old Spectrum 2-8-0 runs poorly needs help".  Check the post as it was good.

Here is the link;

Merchengr, would this be the article you were looking for?

I see Steve beat me to it.  He must have been editing his post even as I was looking up the information.  Merchengr, I hope the article helps!  And Steve, a special thanks for the kind words.

Gentlemen:
I thank you very much for your replies and advice. I hope someday to be able to answer questions and give advice instead of always being on the receiving end.

Again, many thanks.

Jim,
Thanks for the tutorial...I've been having the same problem myself and your detailed plictures and instructions were a God send.

Your advice ranks as one of the best on this forum....like Nigel and others.  By the way has anyone heard from Nigel lately?
