Hello everyone I have a  3 truck shay with factory sound brand new I have put it on the track controller is a Bachmann Ezy Command powered by a 10amp 24 volt power supply I have the power supply set at 14volts but have also tried 18volts the decoder works eg sound comes out, the fire box flickers and the headlight comes on but the loco wont move in either direction have tried the front switch both ways still no movement there is no motor noise at all any ideas before I pull it apart have tried three different addresses with no luck thanks Greg.

Hello everyone I am really stuck now have started to pull apart to replace gear have everything apart how do I get gearbox out do I have to remove axle I can lift up whole gearbox and wheel assembly have taken off side rods what know? thanks Greg.

Aristo Craft states in there manuals that PWC is different I am now confused can you explain the difference they say that PWC provides a continuous voltage to allow full power regards Greg.

Hello I need some help can I run my 3 truck shay with factory dcc and sound on dc I have a Crest 10amp controller part number 55401 with a variable power pack which gives me up to 24 volts the Aristo controller has pulse width control Aristo states it is different to pulse power will it damage the dcc or sound unit if run at around 18 volts or less thanks Greg.

Thanks for the replies I understand the stack is a press fit but the base is not glued to the loco should it be otherwise it is very loose thanks Greg.

Hello I have a few questions re my new 4-4-0 sorry if this has been covered before. 1) Is the front light glued on mine is loose press fit and just pulls off also the base of the smoke stack is not glued on and just pulls off this is a new loco straight out of the box. 2) Is there name bars available for the loco and decals for the tender as mine is unlettered.3) What coupler can I fit to tender to pull Aristo Sierra coaches this is a really nice loco thanks Greg.

Thanks Bill I have taken the bottom plate off to see the motor is there a removable cover for the gearbox or do I have to remove the side rods to take out the whole unit and yes I did get compensation it is such a nice loco and with the hassle of returning it I decided to keep it I think I can repair it myself if told how regards Greg.

Hello to everyone I am a newbie from Brisbane Australia, hope someone can help I recieved a new but damaged 2-6-0 Mogul from a US dealer I have decided to keep this loco after much discussion after cleaning I put it on the track it will not move foward or back just sits there making a loud clicking noise and revving, it rolls freely when you push it by hand and the side rods move. the ash pan also lights up any ideas and help would be great it is part number #81498 thanks Greg.
