I think the Great Western Railway would get offended with Clunc ;) Kenny will do fine! :D
When i eventually get the project started i will post progress and such like on here for you all to see.

I was thinking earlier, a lot of these requests in wishlists will proberly be ignored, so why not have a go yourself? Faces wouldnt be hard to do, get some milliput and mould faces, then stick them on the desired stock. An easy one would be spitful brakevan, get a bachmann UK 20 ton brakevan and mould a face on the one end, job done! There are others that are easy while sme more could be a little difficult, Harvey, Lady etc. I am going to attempt the prototype on which Harvey is based on though, hopefully it will turn out alright.

What you could do is put the speaker and decoder into a coach/wagon behind the loco (eg thomas with the speaker in annie) so you would have to permanetly couple thomas to annie and clarabel. same with toby and henrietta, percy with a rake of troublesome trucks etc etc.

HO
2012: Duck, Oliver, Red coaches and Toad
2013: I hate to say it but i can see Bash, Dash and Ferdinard being made, they are appearing quite a lot now
2014: Rosie, Bo-Co, Den and Dart (i know hornby are making Dart but its going to be major expensive compared to the bachmann stuff and the chassis is terrible it has a scalextric motor in it and will go like a bat out of hell!)
2015: Maybe, just maybe, they could start the Narrow Gauge locos, Skarloey, Mighty Mac, Peter Sam etc. could be a market for them, not just in the USA but would certainly be popular in the UK.
G
2012: Toby
2013: Edward
2014: Diesel
2015: Duck.

Ive been off the forum for a while now and hve been thinking, how about (i know some of these characters havent been produced yet but A Misty Island Day's Work, Bash, Dash and Ferdinard with 6 flat beds that have jobi wood secured ontop? Or the Horrid Lorries set: Thomas, James, Percy and Toby with the three horrid Lorries on flatbeds after their accidents?

the chassis and ducks body is actually very old, dating back to when triang brought out the 57xx pannier tank. this was about 30 or 40 years ago now. then hornby (who is actually still triang but triang chose to use hornbys name instead) have done very minor upgrades to the chassis, it is one of the worst in the range. it is underneath the LNER J52, J83, GWR pannier, thomas, Southern E2 and LMS jinty, all of which are usually poor runners.

ive visited your layout at Rothley, its great :) (was there in october last year and january this year for the steam galas) would be nice to see toby, diesel, edward and duck in ls. along with branchline coaches, henrietta and a brakevan.

I'm pretty sure that if a product says 8+ on the box, then a parent will see that as their kid should be that old in order to use it.

Younger kids should be resorting to Trackmaster, Wooden Railway, etc. anyway.
i know its a little late but ive been away so this is the first time ive been able to comment in a week.
i had my first electric hornby thomas set when i was 2. i had started to buy my own locos and such when i was 4/5. so it goes to show that people ignore the age limit.

anway, great set ideas guys :)

The Fina announcement are as following:

   Donald
  Douglas
   Diesel
  Knapford Station(Picture)
  LS:
Milk tanker oil and fuel tankers

Thats it! Thank you Bachmann for these new products!

do bachmann HATE duck!?
dont you read the stuff put on here? it has already been said that bachmann have to get permission from HiT to produce these things.

i would rather rosie out of the 2 as she could be used by british modellers to make the southern railway's USA dock tank. these are great little locos for southern fans.

i dont know whether this has been posted else where but oh well  ;D
so what are your favourite episodes? they can be from season 1 to 13 and cn include the films. mine would have to be a close shave, double teething trouble, brakevan, busy going backwards, thomas and the special letter and gordon takes a tumble. plus what are your top 5 steamies and top 5 diesels? mine would be 1 duck, 2 donald, 3 oliver, 4 henry, and 5 stepney for steam, 1 bo-co, 2 derek, 3 mavis, 4 dodge/splatter and 5 salty for diesels.
