Title: Dear Bachmann
Post by: Cheeky_ULP on October 18, 2008, 08:10:31 PM
Dear Bachmann,

My Bachmann Thomas model recently has been jerking and flat out stopping in places where my other locomotives don't share the same problem. The engine has had some jerking problems in the past, but this slowed down a bit til recently. The tracks, chassis, and wheels were cleaned, but with same results. I'm not sure what the issue is, as the loco hasn't quite ran a full year of service yet. Is it possible to have it sent for fixing, or some other option?

Dear Sparks,
Try this before you call service: place a drop of conductive lubricant on the wheel backs and treads, and, after wiping down the track with liquid track cleaner, a drrop on each rail as well.
If this fails, contact service.
Have fun!
