Whatever happened to the "fun" part of this hobby?

Now we have some guy trying to screw the rest of us over with some socket thing or whatever 99% of us won't ever use.  >:( >:( >:( >:(

This is very disappointing.

  :P :P :P >:( >:( >:(

Any chance we could see some larger pics? It looks really really good and I would love to see the details.

My friend has done one. If you would like pictures I could get them.

No, a different friend back east.

Thanks everyone. Yes I know Kadees are better by far, but the only Kadees my LHS sells are Talgo mounts   :P

Anyway, I am buying some rolling stock from a friend back East, and he said he would go to his LHS, buy the bulk pack and include those in the package, so I guess I am all set. I was just curious to if they would be able to be used on Athearn if I ever needed to use them at any point in time.

Thanks again everyone.

Bach-man, (or anyone else who knows and can help) is it possible to use E-z Mate couplers on Athearn equipment without modifications? I would like to use them to get rid of the stupid hornhook couplers and my LHS carries a lot of them.

The LHS has these 2 versions of the E-Z Mates.......

It's "Where," not "were."
"You all" is incorrect, substandard English unless the speaker is from the South, in which case it's "Y'awl" and is addressed to a group as a group.

Cool website! Thanks for the link!

We have an early loco sitting down in the river. They pulled it out once while building a bridge over the river in the 60's, digging for the pilings, but put it back in! How stupid. Plans call to pull it back out someday, but not anytime soon.

Tom, that thing is a beauty. I would love to get one of those, and put some J&S coaches behind it.
