Actually, if they do take the time to give Emily her Number 12 on bother her HO and G models, maybe while they're there they could also color her water filler cap the correct black instead of it's current green as well.

I would love to see an addition of Emily's Number 12 on both HO and G scale as well!

Maybe they could also color Percy's bunker the correct black, as opposed to it's current grey. Maybe add a rear dummy coupling hook as well.

Why not if Bachmann does both?

IMO, I think Bachmann should invest even more into their Thomas range, given it's popularity and the fact that due to staying away from the reboot, and listening to the fans, Bachmann is probably going to have the best Thomas Merchandise in the next few years, they should really capitalize on that and release more products!

Maybe they could do something like release both one Classic Series character, (like BoCo, Stepney, Derek, Harvey, Arthur, and Murdoch, among others) and one more modern character (Like Stanley, Sidney, Porter, Sonny, and I suppose Nia, and Rebecca, among others) alongside each other? I do enjoy several CGI characters, like Paxton, Ryan and Sonny, and I am VERY psyched for the upcoming Ryan model, so why not dip into both sides at the same time?

Another thing Bachmann should consider when deciding on a character would be the ability for their Thomas Models to be repainted into non-Thomas models. For example, there is currently no HO/OO scale models of Whiff's basis Aerolite or Sonny's basis Bellerophon. Given that there is a great interest among modelers in retooling and repainting Bachmann's Skarloey and Rheneas models into Talyllyn and Dolgoch, they should also consider whether a potential model of Whiff or Sonny would be of interest to a non-Thomas modeler for conversion into Aerolite or Bellerophon?

Thomas & Friends / Re: The Bachmann Daisy Thread

With BoCo though, they have to remember that his wheel arrangement is a Co-Bo, with his front bogie having 6 wheels, and the rear bogie having 4 wheels for a total of 10 wheels. Daisy is a Bo-Bo, with both bogies only having 4 wheels each, for a total of 8 wheels.

I Expect that they will need to adjust one of the bogies into a 6-wheel configuration, maybe add a set of non-motorized wheels in between. It would be extremely inaccurate otherwise, to the TVS, the RWS, and the real loco.

Maybe they could modify the Spencers Coaches to get started on the Slip Coaches?

I would love to see the Old Coaches as well. It has been a while since we got a new rolling stock tooling, and the Old Coaches are very popular with fans and modelers, so there is indeed a demand.

And if Bachmann needs more incentive, they could also recolor the Old Coach toolings to make Teak Old Coaches, as seen here.

They are making more obscure Rolling Stock like the Museum Coaches after all.

I meant Duck and Olivers Autocoaches.

I guess in general I wonder if modelers will use Museum Coaches rather than Red Coaches, seeing how the Museum Coaches look like they are in GWR Livery.

Hey, how many modelers you suppose will make the Toby's Museum Coaches into Alice, Mirabel, Isabel, and Dulcie?

That would be interesting to see.

I would be fine with Splatter and Dodge. I would personally love to have them for my headcanon where they work with Mavis at Anopa Quarry instead of 'Arry and Bert.

All they would have to make new would be the faces, as they already have the ladder-less body. Works well if they need to release some new models on short notice.

An idea if they reintroduce the Tar Tanker, instead of it being just a generic re-release, maybe they could update it's livery, as is the case with Gordon's Express Coaches

The Tar Tankers have reappeared in the series with the words TAR on the front and back of the tanker, as well as on the sides:

https://ttte.fandom.com/wiki/Tar_Tankers?file=CGITarWagon.png

They have actually appeared this way briefly way back in Dirty Objects/James in a Mess for one shot, right before James has his crash.

A great opportunity for an update that fits both the CGI series and the Classic series at the same time!

Not sure if the image links will work...

Thomas & Friends / Re: Forgotten T&F Characters

I would love to see these too!

I know Bachmann makes at least Arthur and Murdoch's basis. This could come in handy in designing a model for them: While I suspect that they will design brand new loco shells and eye-mechanisms, they already have a basis and chassis to at least start from.

Maybe they could also expand to forgotten Rolling Stock. For when they next design a new rolling stock design, I hope they would do the Season 1 green and yellow Old Coaches. There are many modelers who have made their own versions of these coaches, so this would be a popular set of coaches to get in on.

Suggestion for some upgrades to existing models, maybe Emily's model Tender could be updated with her new Number 12?

I saw it, it was wonderful!

Regarding generations of fans, that is what the Rev. Wilbert Awdry had said: He was not just writing for children, but for the parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles who were reading the stories to their children!

One thing that kinda bugs me though is the belief that Model Thomas is not 'real' modeling. On the contrary, the Thomas characters are based on real locomotives, and there are many Thomas modelers who modify existing models or even scratch-build models of their own to resemble the real Locos. For example, Ryan is a Great Northern Railway (GNR) Class N2, and Daisy is a modified British Rail (BR)/Metro-Cammell Class 101/102 DMU. Wilbert Awdry himself made model Railway layouts of his railways from the books! Its not too big a deal, I just wanted to mention that to me it feels a bit demeaning for our Thomas models to not be considered 'real.'

Thank you for a great livestream, and I personally can't wait to see more of Daisy and Ryan!

Still, it was nice while it lasted.

I remember seeing somewhere that the GWR Cattle Wagon was based on a cattle wagon in an illustration of the Railway Series that looked the same. Sadly, I don't remember what image it is.

The Museum Coaches appear to be following this recolor trend as well, the difference is that they have an actual basis in the show.

Given the reveal of the Museum Coaches, I am REALLY hoping that Bachmann will make Gordon's Special Coaches from series 10, both Composite and Brake, from the molds of their Express Composite and Brake Coaches, the ones with the corridors.

They could also recolor Henrietta into Hannah if they wanted. I wouldn't mind that, as Hannah could go with my models of Toby, Henrietta, custom Elsie, and Victoria on Toby's Vintage Train.

I had no idea ryan was named after an actual fan. That is so dang cool. I'm still not sure if I'm gonna get him 6et though

Not just any fan: One of the major voices in the Thomas Fandom as a whole. To me it was them saying to the fans "You are out there, and we see you."
