Thanks for the reply, I was really impressed with the Alco S-4 DCC/Snd Bachmann switcher, to which I decided to purchased for the west yard on the layout, they will fit in perfectly with my fleet of Atlas Gold MP15's. I model Santa Fe from 1975-1997 era, and I have geeps from Proto2000 that I installed decoders into. Are the Bachmann DCC on board decoders a plug-n-play type system, or would I have to replace the DCC board all together? I would like to know before I purchase the S.F. zebra striped Geep 9 by Bachmann. Thanxs.

It's possible to install any decoder, sound or otherwise, in any locomotive if you have the skills and or are willing to take the time to learn them.

Thank you rogertra, I will go ahead and order the Geep 9 and install the sound system. I will have to see how much room I have for the speaker(s). I will deal with it, thanks.
