I'm sorry I can't offer any advice/help. Here are some notes to be aware off, however.

Note,
The Bachmann motor is quite powerful, be sure the decoder can take a bit of power. If not, you risk burning out the decoder. The Soundtraxx TSU-1000 (And the shown Train Control Systems M1) is okay for Bachmann locomotives, you may or may not want to look into purchasing one. (http://www.soundtraxx.com/dsd/tsunami/index.php?p=1000.php) To purchase: http://www.modeltrainstuff.com/Soundtraxx_TSU_1000_s/2508.htm

This decoder may be too big for small locomotives. I think the Thomas model would be the closest to a minimum space allowing shell. If you have trouble installing and seriously give up even with assistance, a great installation service is: http://www.dccinstalled.com/default.asp

To purchase the Train Control Systems M1: http://www.modeltrainstuff.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=Train+Control+Systems+M1&Search.x=0&Search.y=0

Cheers,
Joshua
