Title: DCC output voltage to rails?

I am not close to my layout and am doing some elec. gadgets to put on cars. What is the nominal V out to tracks, ac/dc. Jim

Nevermind, Found it. output is 15.5dcV nom @5-= a

The voltage can depend on the system and the load on the track I have seen numbers between 13 VAC and 19 VAC which also depends on the multimeter. Some meters do not respond well to the DCC pulse frequency and may not give a correct reading.
I have a DCC voltmeter that shows about 13.8 volts for my NCE Power Cab and about 14 volts at our club where we use the NCE Power Pro. Again, depending on how may locos are on the track for a load and how good the feeders are soldered to the track.
