I have an N scale train setup using EZ Track.  I re-ballasted one section near some turnouts and when I was done, one of the turnouts won't switch.  My guess is that I got some glue and/or ballast on the track area and it blocked it from being able to move.  I cleaned the area out, but now, when I try to switch it, the black manual switch on the turnout goes back and forth, but the track itself won't move.  Is this fixable, or did I break it beyond repair?

Thanks for your reply.  A follow up:  the expander set came with the left and right turnouts as I mentioned, each with a green wire attached, and a black box to connect to each of those green wires, but only one red power wire.  Even if I had a 44212, how would these be connected?  Are there connection instructions available anywhere?

N / Hooking Up N Scale Turnouts
December 27, 2019, 03:06:29 PM
I purchased the Empire Builder set which included the 44211 controller, and then bought the Nickel Silver E-Z Track Expander Set which includes a left and right remote turnout.  I can't figure out how to connect the turnouts remotely.  I fear the 44211 is not the right controller for this, or am i missing something?  Thanks in advance for your help.
