Thomas & Friends / Knapford Station Track Plan
February 18, 2013, 04:43:27 PM
Good morning

I'm a fan of Spain to the model railway and my passion are trains Thomas and friends. I am designing a large model set in the island of Sodor. I would like to ask if any of you has made the planning of track of Knapford station and if they would be willing to share this information? My email is pierorkgmail.com if you want to send me a file with information relating to the matter.

A greeting.

Thomas & Friends / Re: My HO Knapford Station Complete

Good afternoon

you write from Spain. I am a railway Modeller amateur to the Thomas and I am currently preparing a model with some parts of the island of Sodor. I would like to ask them if they have a plane of Knapfor routes with their turnouts and other elements so that you can help me guide my design.

A greeting and thank you.

With respect to the decoders, I have put in Percy, Thomas, Toby, Spencer, Bill and Ben (these are Hornby), James and Emily Bachmann 36-553 a decoder.

I have two installed in Gordon decoder. A 36-553 Bachmann and SFX064D Digitrax, all within the body of the locomotive but the speaker is installed in the tender.

In Edward I put a reference decoder DCX75 CTElektronic.

These days you'll get to a decoder Digitrax SDH164D Henry and put the speaker in the tender.

Of all the locomotives have only had to put Emily the decoder in the tender.

Otherwise they all work beautifully, best Edwuard and Percy and Gordon. Admittedly, the space for the decoder is very, very limited and this is a problem that only the manufacturer can solve. It would be a good idea to solve this issue and that today more and more digital systems and models used so you have to install decoders in our locomotives.

Greetings to all.

Good morning:

would like to know if anyone knows of a decoder that can be installed on locomotives Thomas and his friends sold with recorded sounds of each locomotive. If not, I encourage this thread from the manufacturer to put Bachmann on the market a range of motor and sound decoder that is specific to each locomotive. I think they would have great public ...

Regards.

Thomas & Friends / A proposal

A proposal

Hi all and above all happy Christmas holidays.

This is a proposal for technicians and designers Thomas trains and friends.

I emptied the pockets of plastic that bring the locomotives of the series of Thomas and his friends in scale H0 and I have put a smd led connected to a decoder and is wonderful to see how their headlights on and off when moving through our unique Island Sodor. There is only one catch is that the outbreaks are not opaque but translucent and when Thomas turned his small headlight also fully illuminates the back and sides. I think if these lights were made in opaque black plastic that would not happen to bring them light. Uncia is a proposal I believe that there will be an economic effort on the part of the brand.

A greeting and thank you very much.

Thomas & Friends / James has a problem in your engine
December 05, 2010, 08:42:47 AM
Good afternoon:

I'm a fan of Thomas the train that makes Bachmann. I had a problem with the engine of James that has stopped working. Does not seem to have a solution so I would like to know what kind of motor is and where or what might replace it.

A greeting and thank you very much for your kindness.

Good afternoon:

Bachmann 36-553 I have a decoder installed on Toby, Percy, Thomas, Spencer, Emily, James and others in the series Thomas and his friends.

Some of the participants in ester forum can tell me what would be the most desirable CV values to refine the movements of these locomotives?

A greeting and thank you very much.

Thomas & Friends / Re: Smoke Generator in Spencer

Thank you very much for your kind response.
For me one of the most valuable features of Bachmann trains is precisely the movement of the eyes, not those of Hornby. So I think it is worthwhile to change the movement of the eyes from smoke.
A greeting.

Thomas & Friends / Smoke Generator in Spencer
June 18, 2010, 03:34:35 AM
Good morning:

Hi everyone!

I'm a fan of Spain rail mode. I have a 6 year old boy who is a lover of trains from Thomas & Friends and for this reason we are making a large model that depicts scenes of the Island of Sodor. The rolling stock is all we Bachmann because, although it is much harder to get in Spain that Hornby, is much nicer. II think they go well beyond the image of trains has through the chapters of the TV series.

Yesterday I made a query to Bachmann's technical department regarding the possibility of installing a smoke generator in Spencer and in other locomotives in this series and, very kindly, Ms. Debra Schiff, sent me this forum to make this query .

I would like to know if any of you has a smoke generator locomotives Thomas and Friends H0 scale, what kind of generator, make, model and, if possible, a small tutorial with problems and solutions have been produced during installation.

Greetings from Spain.
