Tunnel,  clearance could be an issue on a modern pike.  Think NYC Penn  Station

I do not think so but call.  Even if is they only charge $35 maximum (last time I checked for service) and they warranty repairs or replacements for one year so it's worth a shot.  Maybe you can speak to a technician and they can tell you what to do over the phone.

Okay that does sound mechanical in nature.  Have you contacted the service department?

If you are referring a hum it is coming from the decoder.  Bachmann DCC on Board locomotives uses a low-end decoder that makes a hum. Short of replacing it with a better one I don't know if anything can be done.

If I remember right the Bachmann Catalogue does give minimum radius curves for each locomotive.  Since in a given scale a locomotive is a locomotive it should work on the other brands of the same locomotive.

Interesting I did the same thing and it worked fine (Although I don't like the lights going out at each end.) 

First make sure the track is assembled correctly A to A and B at the ends if I remember correctly. Also it might matter where the powered car is but I am not sure.

Did you check to see if the switch in your he cab is set to on?

Go to Allelectronics.com search for SPDT switches they had a couple of momentary contact switches that would meet your needs and they offer a bit of a discount for bulk (10+) purchases.

Looking at the prototype it may be possible for me to letter my own However I cannot seem to find the right font to produce the O in Tropicana and it would help to know the shades of red and green.

I notice that Bachmann is going a GE 70 tonner Tropicana locomotive in N scale.  Any chance of releasing an HO version to go with my refers?
