Dear 203,
DCC Ready means the loco is wired and ready to ACCEPT a decoder that you supply.

It should.
All my Bachmann DCC ready came with the DC adapter in place.

Yes you can, and should, because DC powered lokies don't play well on DCC powered track.

I don't know about Bachmann DCC equipment but my Lenz Has adress 0 as a DC simulator.
