IS BACHMANN PLANNING ANY Z TRAINS NOW OR FOR THE FUTURE ? THANK YOU.
Dear Farmboy,
Not so far as I know.
Have fun!

Not much of a market. Compared to other scales.
Joshua
Some Nn3 would be nice, but it is a small market too...
Charles
Nn3 would be something, but your right, not much of a seller. Those interested in Narrow Gauge either go for On3, On30 (Already offered), or HOn3.

With your logic why would anyone model N or Z?
American Z Lines, and Micro Trains both offer good Z scale equipment, with AZL the more prototypical and scaled models. Its too risky an endeavor right now for a company to try a new line of trains, in a size and scale they have no experience in.
More people might like Z scale if someone like Bachmann could do it cheaper.....Its not the space shuttle......modern CNC machines ect should be able to do it cheaper now than when Z started with Miniclub.
The Marklin price tag always stopped me.....even though i only have a small area for a layout i chose HO.
