i was wondering if it was practical .to trim the edge of a piece of track to make it fit into a transition .i had to do this today .when i was building my layout .using #5 and r18 switches only because of the ez track road bed . i got it all together ,and it ran great .although i was wondering there is an extra wire under "loose" under the #5 switch .what is this used for .
