Pretty good, but I don't care for the GN colors.

The current Spectrum SD45 model is very very good.  Not quite Kato, but you get more for your $$ with the Spectrum model.

Too bad its not GN400, I wouldn't mind a Hustle Muscle (http://www.gnrhs.org/hustle_muscle.htm) myself.

If your engineer wants orange you can also look at the BNSF orange and green scheme. My little engineer was looking at trian pictures with me one day and called one an "Orange Juice diesel". I ended up with a Walthers Trainline GP9m (inexpensive but not the same detail level as a Bachmann Spectrum) and a string of reefers, full of imaginary oranges of course.

By definition, a Bachmann Spectrum engine is a good one.

I did not know that, I'll have to keep an eye out for that.
