Has Bachmann ever considered producing a RTR single-point switch, either in Code 100 nickel-silver, or smaller rail, that can be used for streetcar trackage? There's an obvious gap in the market for such switches, even if they are simply a modification of an existing sectional switch, for such use.

Are there any photos of production cars in any of the paint schemes listed yet?

Since I have two seperate trolley routes on my layout, I'm going to dedicate one of them to the DCC-equipted cars, for the time being. Can Bachmann's DCC decoders be safely retrofitted, to older Bachmann PCC's and Brill Suburban trolleys? I have a number of each, that I'd like to run on the same route, as the Peter Witt's, when I start adding those to my trolley roster. Also, can Bachmann's DCC-decoders work with the Proto 1000 subway cars, or those "pancake" motors used in older Bachmann diesels, similar to the ones in older Bachmann trolleys.

Now that it look's like Walthers will not be doing another subway train for some time after the Proto 1000 R-21/22 subway sets, will Bachmann consider doing a subway set, either another New York City subway/elevated train, or one in Philadelphia, Boston, or Chicago, in HO scale?

While on the subject of sound decoders, how about some for traction applications? I know that other than gear whine from the traction motors, most trolleys and subway trains don't generate much noise, other than from the wheels. But that lack of noise from a diesel engine, or steam pistons, leaves an opening for applications such as a bell on streetcars, or trolley whistles on older pre-1940 subway trains, and air horns on those built from 1948 on forward. Some of the current ones have even been equipted with air horns that mimic the trolley whistles, of the pre-1940 cars they replaced.

St. Louis Public Service Co. painted theirs (along with their PCC's) in a similar red-and-cream scheme, to the TTC. Perhaps when the cars painted for St. Louis are available, you can modify the paint as necessary, to get the proper scheme for a Toronto car.

Oddly enough;

That Des Moines, Ia. streetcar that look's like a "rough copy" of a Peter Witt, almost look's like it could be modeled, using the Bachmann Brill Suburban streetcar, as a starting point. It just might be possible, moving the "rear-end" doorset on one side forward to the middle of the side, and replacing both doorsets on the other side, with appropriate body panels and windows.

That might actually turn out to be a crude version of a Nearside trolley, the predecessor of the Peter Witt...

Nice thing about rapid transit. Almost every car in the train is powered, so with a 4, 6, or 8-car train, every unit on one throttle, is a "helper". So is it practical to link three DCC-equipted units (in this case, motored cars in a subway train) together on one address?

Not if you're modeling heavy rapid transit (subway-elevated trains, trolleys), those grades aren't a cardinal sin. And neither are the 18" radius curves. In fact, I'm using 15" radius, with Proto 1000 subway trains. Which raises a question for me. Can I retro fit Bachmann DCC decoders to these cars? And if so, can they run on the same trackage, with non-DCC-equipted subway trains that I have?

I'm looking forward to the cars in the Baltimore Transit Co., and Brooklyn & Queens Transit Co. paintschemes. With careful masking, I can repaint a car into a PRT (Philadelphia Rapid Transit), or PTC (Philadelphia Transportation Co.)-inspired scheme for my freelanced transit system. It won't be accurate for a Philadelphia Peter Witt, but it's more than available otherwise.
