How are the trucks attached? I am afraid of breaking the trucks by prying with a flat head screw driver. Are they held on with a clip thanks for your help

Use a small flat screwdriver on the clip towards the middle of the loco on each truck. Lift and pivot towards the end of the loco and it should come right off. When replacing, reverse the operation. Get the end in place first, then pivot the inside end of the loco bottom down until it locks in place. The latch towards the ends of the loco are smaller, and more likely to break if you pry them.
