Will there be a 2014 club car and if so when will it be announced?

The cars I have are the O-27 streamlined style by Williams before Bachmann.
The markings are on the inside of several of the six cars.
There are no connections of any type, only the statement as mentioned.

I have a set of  six O-27 sized streamlined cars which say inside Station Sound Ready.

I was told it was never made at least for these cars.

WM,

A review in OGR mag still left me with a question that you should be able to answer since you have one of the locos.

What happens when the horn is sounded?
Crossing signal as on Tru Blast II locos?
A short blast?
A long blast?
A sound determined by the length of time the button is pushed ala LioneL?

Yardmaster,

I think the comments above may be an indication of what three rail O gauge modelers think.

No,other companies do not keep stuff in their catalogs for ever but they probably have come
to expect certain items to almost always be available.

It does seem that there are fewer listings for Williams than in the past and it appears that they are trying to drop some things
that have been in the catalog for many years. This may attract some buyers that already have or don't want the older products.

I hope that some of those that have been dropped will be seen again. The box car selection seems to have been cut severly
with few or no new names added to this style.

It seems that some are really excited about the new sound systems.I have never thought of sound, other than bell/horn/whistle
to be of much interest or an attraction for me.

My only complaint with Williams locos has been the one pattern whistle/horn.

No problem getting it.

It seems to me  that the Williams offerings are being downsized in number.
There are still some things I would like to have but choice has narowed.

Lee,

I  agree.
My oldest Williams is from 2003 and is a before Bachmann SD-45.
I have not had any problems with it at all.

Fox,

\The SD-45 will pull at least 40 cars. The problem is pulling the cars off on curves.I think this is called stringlining.
I pulled 43 with a single Williams gp7/9 and that was my limit because of stringlining.
I have no idea what it could pull on a level straifht track.Maybe 1oo.

Wyatt,

Now that clears up a lot of stuff.

I am not a big fan of sounds other than whistle/horn and bell
but the engine sound is acceptable even if it is not the correct
sound for that particular loco.
Can the engine sound be turned off?
I think I said earlier that the only complaint I have with Williams
locos is the pre-set whistle/horn pattern. The sound itself is OK.
When the boards become available I may look into them.
I also have an interest in the GP-30 and the RS-3.

Thank you for the info.

So I'm still confused.
Do the RS-3 and GP-30 have these sound boards as delivered?
If the board is an add-on for these new locos I would be very disappointed
sinc ethe price is a bit higher for these locos.

If the boards will be available for use in TrueBlast II locos that may or may
not be of interest to me depending on cost.My wife says I am a cheapskate.
My only real dislike of Williams locos is the unvariable whistle and horn. The
actual sound is OK.

It seems that it gets harder and harder to find new locos with just basic horn,
whistle and possibly smoke.I don't really care for all of the sounds and tricks.

I hope Bachmann does not turn the Williams line into a higher price line that
is just like every other company.Keep it basic please. It works every time.

Fred,

The higher voltage lamp will last longer than the lower voltage one.
The lower voltage bulbs will be brighter but burn out quicker.
Your choice.

WM,

What do you mean the "new sound system will be out late summer"?
