Like an AB lash up? should be no  problem. What kind of system do you have? Analog or DCC. Please tell us more about your layout. Thanks Paul

I have both dc (analog) and dcc engines .  MY SON LIKES to run both because the other two dc (analog) engines smoke. I made a upper level that would run the two DC(analog ) engines , that why i was wondering if it would hurt running the two dc (analog) engines off the same power pack.

Don't know how much power your power pack has, but you should be able to run two engines with out hurting them.

You just won't be able to control them individually, without some kind of block system. What one engine does, so will the other.
