Title: The new 4-4-0 American on curves
Post by: jjgtrains on July 26, 2008, 06:52:37 PM
Hi Bachmann,
Will I be able to run the new 4-4-0 American on my LGB R-2 curves?
Thanks,
John J. Gilson

Dear JJG,
We recommend 8' Diameter as a minimum radius for the 4-4-0.
Have fun!

Hi Bach-man,
Thanks for your quick response. Do you think that Bachmann might ever offer a 4-4-0 standard gauge style locomotive, matching my Bachmann 4-6-0 Annie's 1:22.5 scale, or my Hartland Locomotive Works 4-4-0 Walt Disney's Lilly Belle's 1:24 scale, that could also run on the R-2 curves?
Thanks again,
John J. Gilson

Dear JJG,
As far as I know, there are no plans for another style 4-4-0, such as the small On30 version. I'll pass along the request, though.
Have fun!
