if the on30 freight cars where full sized how long would they be in Feet? just need a rough estaminet.
Just measure them. The first O stands for O scale, which is a quarter of an inch equals a foot.
Bachmann's beer reefers are 6' 5/16"s, and would be 25"3" in real life.
This hold true for all the O scale manufactures.

THANKS
i knew what the O meant i just do not have a car near by to measure now long in Inches to do that math so i figured it would be faster to post here
Purchasing a good stainless steel scale ruler is a great investment! They come in very handy. :)
An architect's 1/4" scale works wonders.
Just a note -
O Scale is 1/4" = 1 foot (or 1:48) in the US. In England, O scale is 1:43.5, and in Europe it is 1:45.
