Unftly. a small part of my new Bachmann 2-6-6-2 body broke. Which glue is needed to fix that?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Jan,
There are two adhesives I like to work with:
If the pieces to be joined can be held in place prior to repair, I use a good superglue; something rather thin. Elmer's superglue works well. It dries flat (not lumpy). However, there is a shine, so the adhesive should be hidden if possible. Otherwise, a little dullcote, to hide it, helps. Also, the superglue wicks into the joint providing a good bond.
The other adhesive is 5-minute epoxy (the clear stuff, not industrial), applied with a toothpick or needle. I use this when I must apply the adhesive first and then position the parts. This gives me time to get everything lined up well before the adhesive takes hold.
Both adhesives hold well.
Regards,
Jonathan

One other to use is Weldon #16 for acryllics. Easy to work with and leaved it clamped for strong repairs.
