Title: looking to add a capacitor to 0n30 locomotive
Post by: minerjoe on January 26, 2021, 11:37:32 AM
Thank you to those who responded. Layout is DCC, so will check on installing Stay Alive. Not sure how complicated installation would be. Perhaps there is someone out there that installs Stay Alive for a price?
Cordially, Minerjoe

Generally it is only two wires to connect. Soldering. Some just plug in. Depends. There are places online that you can send your loco to.

Others will suggest.

This might be more than you can handle but it will give you and idea of what is involved. You need to find the plus and minus 12 to 14 volts DC on the decoder. Connect the two wire of the stay alive.
