My Lt. Mtn. will run all day long on the 11¼r, I've never tried it on anything smaller.

Thanks James
I'm looking to order the 4-8-2 LT MT but I'm having a power problem I just got 6 lighted passenger cars and if I put more then 2 on the track I have a power loss and my 0-6-0 or my 2-6-2 stop moving with the power at full. Hope the 4-8-2 will help and hope it will pull all 6 cars
   Thanks
Frank

The 4-8-2 will not help with your power problem.

What is the output rating of your power supply?

If you're running the old Bachmann shorty lighted passenger cars they are power hogs.
One solution would be to get rid of the incandescent bulbs by swapping to LED's w/resistors; another would be to acquire a higher rated output power supply. Battery powered car lighting is yet another option.
If you're using the power supply that come with the starter sets you are over taxing it.

Consider MRC here;

And here;

Good luck

Thanks for the help
I'm going to order the 4-8-2 LT MT on eBay for 59.00 + ship, hope it will pull all 6 passenger cars. I'm going to put the LEDs in the passenger cars as you suggested, the train show is in Deland tomorrow and I can pick up the LEDs as for the power pack I have a MRC 1300 and the stock Bachmann from my Yard Boss
Thank
Frank
