N / Dummy Knuckle Couplers

My layout is in N Scale. All of my motive power is Bachmann. Most all of my rolling stock(freight cars) is Bachmann. Recently Bachmann Customer Service advised me that they were going from Rapido Couplers to Dummy Knuckle. I just purchased one of their train sets which has the Dummy Knuckle. I would like to switch some of my freight cars from Rapido to Dummy Knuckle. My eyesight is not that good any more, so, working with really small parts is almost out of the question. I have noted that Bachmann produces, or has available, product #42533(Dummy Knuckle Coupler Truck Assembly w\oWheels) so, my question is: Has any one dealt with these and is it easier to make the switch as I think it might be?? Any help will be sincerely appreciated. Thank you.

General Discussion / couplers

It has been many moons since I was involved in model railroading, and, a lot of changes have been made. Here is my dilema. I have a N Scale layout which is comprised of Bachmann Motive power and Bachmann rolling stock(freight cars). Recently, I was advised by Bachmann Customer Service that they were going from Rapido couplers to Dummy Knuckle. I purchased a Train set from them and it had the Dummy Knuckles on it. I want to change over some of my Rapido rolling stock to Dummy, however, my eye sight is not that good any more, so I prefer to stay away from really small stuff. I know that Bachmann sells "Dummy Knuckle Coupler Truck Assembly w/o wheels - part no. 42533. That, to me, seems like an easy way to go. Has anyone gone through this, and, what has your experience been?? I would really appreciate some help on this. Thank you.
