what kind of wheels are in the regular freight cars withthe medal wheels

It seems RP-25s are common.

Most freight car wheels are 33", 100 tonners may use 36".

to clarify the above posts. rp25 is the standard set by the NMRA for wheelsets. 33" and 36" are the wheel diameters, in scale inches. they correspond to the wheel sizes of the prototype wheels.

What are the bachmann freight car wheels, 33" or 36"

most should be 33. the 100 ton hoppers may use 36, because that's what the real ones use.
