Title: Rock Island Passenger Cars
Post by: Mike_AA9ZY on March 08, 2009, 03:45:42 PM
I just bought the FA-1 engine pair in Rock Island colors (very nicely executed, btw.) and managed to find a dealer who still had a set of the aluminum streamlined 60' cars. I wasn't able to get the 2 car add-on set, so I'm hoping that this series will be offered by WBB again.

What say you WBB??

The Rock Island rocket trains were spectacular to see and Williams did an excellent job of capturing the colors.

I know most of your customers prefer the east or west coast trains, but some of the midwestern roads had great looking color schemes too.

I do SP, but they got onto the Friendly via the Golden State route in New Mexico.   Or slipped in via Mail trains via Ogden

Hey Dominic, if you don't already have the FA-1 engines I would recommend them to you.  The only thing these engines are missing are crew and a view block.

I'm thinking about ordering the power kit for the dummy.

Oh, I got my first Heritage engine at a train show last weekend. It's the CNW unit. It won't be the last one!

I agree! I think I'll get either the Katy or Mopac next.
