Does anyone have any comments on the pulling power of this unit? I have a 4% grade on my table and am curious if anyone has found any issues with it's power on such a grade.

New to HO, looking for suggestions to what type of track is best to use on my layout. Purchased A  Bachmann set with gray road bed. Have read some comments about derailing especially with Bachmann turnouts. Atlas makes a similar product called true track. Are these two interchangebale? Any thoughts?

I'm new to all this, purchasing 2  engine units a EMD GP40 and FT-A, both are DCC equipped. Can sound be added, if so, can you tell me what product to buy, are they difficult to install.
