Title: Changes to Granville Junction Roundhouse - Walthers 90ft Turntable
Post by: rogertra on October 18, 2007, 03:00:06 AM
Recently purchased the "new" Walthers powered electric turntable to replace the kitbash manual one, an Airfix circa 1964 plastic turntable mkitbashed to make it look North American.

Here's the roundhouse as it was: -

I'll post more, if you're interested as progress continues.

Roger,

Nice adaptation. If you do post more, please add what it took for electrical installation and how well the unbit works for you. Some of us with the olde Walthers kit version had a lot of problems with operation.

Thanks, Jim

Roger;
Excellent idea, to share this operation with us.  I believe that when someone does this, it makes it easier for others to go forth and do likewise.
Thanks again, and I do hope that you share more of this with us.

Regards, Rich
