F.B.

I have about 1100 feet of the AMS Code 250 on plastic Narrow Gauge ties in Northeast Florida, no problems in the last 2 years with sun or heat - I find it great to use, weathers a little like LGB, but not quite as brown.

A great grease for MR gears is the valve grease thats sold in Swimming Pool supply stores. It's plastic compatible, with stands heat, doesn't break down due to heat wear or water, non toxic, clear in color and the best is the price about $2 per 5 ounce tube.  I use on my garden railway.

Just a thought, stick to the topic - Scenery info.  If you want to debate grammer and spelling go to the NEA Website - you'll have a grand time!

I have used bearings from a company that advertised in the old Finescale Railroader (circa 2004-05). I put them in 27 of my Accucraft cars, 31 of my Bachmann and a few USA and Aristocraft. No electrical problems with using them. I just disassembled one side of the trucks, bored out a 1/4 inch hole inside the journal box, inserted the bearing, inseted the axel and wheels and that was it.  The cost for the bearings was very cheap. I don't remeber the company name, but it consisted of initials, I think starting with H.
